It is going to be the battle of the Gingerbread Gins this Christmas, with both ASDA and Aldi preparing to wow shoppers by offering bottles of Gingerbread Gin as the ultimate luxury drink during the festive season.
ASDA’s Gingerbread Gin is available in-store now and online before the end of September, priced at £12 per bottle.
Aldi’s Gingerbread Gin meanwhile will be priced cheaper at £9.99 and will be available in-store and online from October 1, you can note the difference in labelling from the pictures above – Aldi’s is sub-titled ‘The Infusionist Small Batch’ Gingerbread Gin Liqueur.
It’s also important to note that both are liqueurs, meaning that they are lower in alcohol percentage compared to standard gins, so you only need to add a few drops plus your favourite tonic and ice to enjoy it in moderation.
